PeopleSoft Enterprise HelpDesk Receives Prestigious IT Service Management and Support Certification

PeopleSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) today announced that PeopleSoft(R) Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) 8.9 HelpDesk has received PinkVerify(TM) certification from Pink Elephant, a leading global IT service management education and consulting provider. The certification verifies PeopleSoft's Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL(R)) compatibility and demonstrates the company's commitment to industry best practices in IT service management and support.

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library is a set of guidelines developed by the United Kingdom's Office of Government Commerce. The guidelines provide a best-practices approach to IT management, support, and delivery, and facilitate the adoption of the ITIL framework as organizations worldwide implement an integrated, process-based approach to IT. For software vendors, PinkVerify certification confirms that a Pink Elephant IT Service Management consultant has verified that their solution meets the functional requirements needed to support the ITIL framework. PeopleSoft Enterprise HelpDesk has been certified in all four areas of the PinkVerify service and support program: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
